A bit about me:

  • I grew up in the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin and have since escaped to Alabama and California during my college years.
  • I am currently a senior mechanical engineering student at The University of Alabama.
  • I spent the fall of 2016 as a student at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA through a national student exchange program.
  • In my free time, I love road cycling and weightlifting, and frequently throw running and swimming into the mix racing triathlon.
  • I'm passionate about design at the intersection of our digital and physical worlds.

  • Developed conveyor add-on product to extend capabilities of mobile robot platform.
  • Designed user onboarding experience for fleet management UI.
  • Designed and prototyped vacuum gripper concept.

  • Made bike frame marketing tool distributed across 7 countries.
  • Designed custom components for Trek Factory Racing team riders.
  • Designed and machined fixtures for carbon manufacturing.
  • Industrial design and surfacing in SolidWorks.

  • Remodeled and redrew legacy AutoCAD parts in SolidWorks.
  • Analyzed roll crown calculation methods using SW Simulation and Excel
  • Designed an improved scraper blade system for adhesive rolls.

In this annual high school competition, my teammates and I designed, manufactured, and tested a fully functional, life size robot that could play sports like frisbee and basketball in just 6 weeks.
